What customer service is NOT!
We give service awards, tout our complete package of “services,” say call us for customer service to find that “service” often ends as another channel for the customer to navigate to nowhere, is the bridge to nowhere or worse, “on hold again.” If face-to-face that “service” all to often becomes, how can I get rid of your question without exerting too much effort or “getting in trouble” with my boss. Ahhhhh
The most effective, endearing, and lasting relationship-producing service builds up both the giver and receiver because the giver is giving from an overflow of interest or passion and the receiver is in need of that particular overflow.
