The character of leadership

The character of leadership is a consistent walk with development. It is the art of liberation and relationship weaving that renews itself, amazes itself, and takes delight in its practitioners. Benchmarking and exploring these essentials can bring encouragement and refinement, that is, further development in the continuing pursuit of excellence.

Leadership happens in moments of living both large and small. We mistakenly think that leadership is something one is born to or happens only to those who live large.  We even think that just because someone gets elected for something, leadership is an automatic credential.  Leadership is othercenteredness at its ultimate.  If that were not true it would have nothing to do with anything but acts and postures.  It is about the weaving of relationships; that is its renewing factor, what gives it the potential to utterly delight.

Sandra is giving 2 keynotes this month based on the character of leadership.  If you are not going to be there and you know one never stops learning, keep posted as she comes back for the “rest of the story.”
