What does “invest in human resources” mean -  the department and salaries for its personnel or assessing individual contribution potential of the next employee?  More dollars for more hiring assessment tools will not guarantee more engaged employees.  What will have a greater potential to insure the success of a new hire is that we are reasonably sure the person will be doing this job in his or her StrengthBank®.  StrengthBank® is The Plan for your life that will not harm you, that will prosper you, that will give you Hope and a future.  If the match-up to The StrengthBank® Plan is not made (so individual that it is discovered in the right interview conversation), human resources becomes a larger department to handle the “people issues” and the company rock along at mediocre… or less.  In other words, not much “whistling while you work.”
